As is well known, a football game lasts 90 minutes, and there is usually a few minutes of added time during which the decisive events often occur.
The annual meeting of the Sportfreunde Bichl football department was similar.
Bichl – After about 90 minutes of meeting with various reports in the almost full clubhouse, department head Andreas Zander had reached the last point “Wishes and Requests” and unexpectedly used this to make a big bang: almost in a subordinate clause, Zander announced that he was his 30-year-old His work on the board, including the last six and a half years as department head, will end.
According to Zander, the majority of the current department management also wants to resign from their positions next year.
He didn't give any specific names.
There was no discussion about it afterwards; those present seemed a bit perplexed.
Zander ended the meeting as there were no further questions.
Sporty everything is in order
Previously, only positive things had been heard.
Zander himself reported on a variety of events that his footballers had held over the past year.
From the carnival ball to a two-day youth indoor tournament and the training camp with a record participation of 28 participants to the garden party, the catering for the community's building yard inauguration, a stand at the Christmas market and the annual Watt tournament, according to Zander, "everything was top".
Fabian Bergmoser from the sports management could only agree with his conclusion.
In the 2022/2023 football season, the Sportfreunde still had to compete in the relegation round in the A class.
At least they won despite existing motivation problems.
With third place in this year's qualifying round, they made it to the targeted promotion round this year.
According to Bergmoser, what was remarkable was that in some games there were up to six players on the pitch who were still eligible to play for the A-youth team.

Youth leader Christian Müller was also satisfied.
“We have two independent Bambini and one F youth teams, two E, one D and one B youth teams play in a syndicate with Benediktbeuern,” says Müller.
He also highlighted the E-Youth's victory in the district final of the Merkur Cup as a sporting highlight.
Praise from the mayor
Zander briefly reported on the women's team's continued successful relationship with ESV Penzberg, in which the Bichler women still make up more than half of the players and are firmly maintaining a place in the district league.
Treasurer Stefan Rösch also presented positive figures.
At the end, Mayor Benedikt Pössenbacher also didn't miss the opportunity to praise the football department: “Congratulations to you for a great year for the club, both sportingly and socially,” said Pössenbacher. It could have been a nice closing statement.
