Winter sports enthusiasts clashed on a slope in Tyrol.
Things got violent between a snowboarder and a skier from Germany.
Ehrwald – Difficult situations always arise when skiing.
In Ehrwald in Tyrol (Austria), holidaymakers escalated after a collision on Sunday (February 4th).
A Belgian snowboarder (24) and a father from Germany (33) hit each other, reports the Austrian police.
But from the beginning.
Ski collision in Tyrol triggers fight – father from Germany injured
At around 11 a.m., the snowboarder from Belgium was driving down the valley in the Ehrwald ski area when he crashed into a seven-year-old boy from Germany at the intersection with another slope.
Both fell, police said.
Immediately after the collision, the snowboarder and the boy's father attacked each other.
They hit each other.
The father suffered minor injuries to his face.
The boy was injured to an unspecified degree in the collision on the piste and was first treated by the Ehrwald piste rescue service and then taken to the valley.
Accidents while skiing are not uncommon in Tyrol and other ski areas in the winter season.
But unfortunately there are also fatal ones.
A snowboarder from Germany died last weekend after a collision with a skier.
In January, a tragic skiing accident in Austria claimed a young victim.
Resuscitation measures were unsuccessful.
It is unclear how the accident occurred.
