An unusual confrontation was recorded today (Monday) at the weekly meeting of the Likud faction between Knesset member Tali Gottlieb and minister Dodi Amsalem.
MK Gottlieb confronted Amsalem, who asked her to stop bursting into words at the faction meeting: "Stop interrupting, you don't let anyone talk."
Smell the vodka all the way here." The minister went down to her level - and offered her to smell the booze in his mouth.

The Minister of Economy and Industry, Nir Barkat, who is also a member of the two's party, commented on the confrontation and said: "The blatant outbursts in the faction meeting and in the plenum during war correspond to the discourse of the faction before October 7th.
The Israeli public deserves a unifying leadership that is preoccupied with caring for the people of Israel and not with dealing and politicking with a shameful style.
I call on the Prime Minister and the Likud chairman to take steps to prevent similar cases in the future.'
The Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, Ofir Akunis, also responded to the storm and said: "I have been a member of Likud since the dawn of my youth.
I functioned for Likud when former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir was its head.
Even in the most painful losses, I stuck to the Likud way.
The movement, which originated near the beginning of Zionism, is a cornerstone of worldviews.
The style in the faction meetings do not in any way reflect the way of the Likud.
They harm the movement and bring it and the political system as a whole into disrepute.
Likud has a historic role in the leadership of the country, even those who disagree with our path will agree.
This cannot continue.'
