Six accidents within a few hours.

Some serious collisions occurred in the Austrian ski resort of Sölden on Sunday.

One with a hit-and-run.

Sölden – On Sunday (February 4th) there were several violent crashes in Sölden.

When the weather was great in Austria, there was a lot going on in the popular ski area.

There were six accidents, some of them serious, and several seriously injured people.

Serious slope accidents in Sölden: Two Germans crash into each other

As the

Kronenzeitung

report, six accidents occurred in about four and a half hours.

Two Germans were involved in the first accident at around 10:50 a.m.

The trigger: two skiers who were standing at a narrow point on the slope.

The German skier (58) had to take evasive action and then crashed into the 59-year-old woman.

She fell, seriously injured herself and was flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter.

Just a few moments later, another German skier (58) was seriously injured.

And the second person involved just drove on.

According to reports, the skier had started to turn left when the unknown man slid over her skis.

As a result of the collision, the woman fell, was given first aid on the slopes and finally transported to a doctor in Sölden.

Local media also speak of serious injuries here, but do not provide any details.

Less than twenty minutes later, an emergency helicopter had to fly out to Gaislachkogel.

A German skier (59) lost control, left the slope and fell about ten meters down an embankment.

The piste rescue service took care of the situation on site.

The helicopter flew the German holidaymaker to the Zams hospital, where two people injured in the gondola accident on the Acherkogelbahn were also accommodated.

At the same time, a German snowboarder (20) and a Dutch skier (36) crashed into each other at Giggijoch.

According to consistent reports, the woman was seriously injured and was taken to the valley by the piste rescue team.

An emergency medical helicopter took him to the hospital in Zams.

A similar accident happened to a German skier in January: he crashed into a sign and was seriously injured.

Unfortunately, accidents on the slopes are part of skiing.

Just after Christmas, a skier in the Garmisch Classic area fell so badly that she died.
