The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued official warnings.
It will be particularly stormy in the south, east and northeast of the Free State - an overview.
Storm gusts in Bavaria: DWD issues official warning
There is an official warning of severe squalls in the south of Bavaria, which is valid until 12 noon on Monday (February 5th).
It then switches to a warning about squalls (valid until 8 p.m.) “For example, individual branches can fall down.
Pay particular attention to falling objects,” the DWD points out possible dangers.
The districts affected are Oberallgäu, Ostallgäu, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Miesbach, Rosenheim, Traunstein and Berchtesgadener Land.
The warning of squalls also applies in the east of the Free State, and in some districts there are warnings of severe squalls - in some cases until Wednesday morning.

“Trees can be uprooted”: squalls in Bavaria
The districts of Kronach and Hof as well as Rhön-Grabfeld and Bad Kissingen are also affected.
“In isolated cases, for example, trees can be uprooted and roofs damaged.
Pay particular attention to falling branches, roof tiles or objects,” says the DWD note on possible dangers.
In the rest of Bavaria there is a warning about squalls (colored yellow on the warning map), for example in Munich.
Only one city is currently exempt from DWD warnings: Ingolstadt.
