The municipality of Berglern is contributing an additional 20,000 euros for the renovation of the Schieberwirt facade.
There is also probably a government subsidy.

– It is well known that thekraterwirt in Berglern is being renovated after it was sold.
The investor also wants to prepare the facade and the outdoor areas.
There are funds from urban development funding available for this purpose, but these are subject to conditions: The money is only available if the municipality also participates.
Specifically, that would be 20,000 euros, which could then enable the investor to receive 200,000 euros in subsidies from the Free State.
The local council dealt with the issue at its meeting.
Anna Mayr, one of the most vocal supporters of a sale at the time, was strongly opposed to the municipality investing again with five-figure sums.
She wasn't alone in her opinion.
Daniel Helmecke was also of the opinion that the investor could and should have known this beforehand.
Markus Geier, on the other hand, said that the community had a certain responsibility here because of the townscape and that that was a reasonable amount.
The funds had been applied for for 2023 but have not yet been withdrawn.
As Mayor Anton Scherer announced, they must be reapplied for in 2024.
After an intensive debate, there was finally a majority of eight votes to four in favor of the municipal subsidy, although there is still no certainty that the amounts will also have an impact on the budget this year.
