In the ratings duel between “Das Supertalent” and “Small vs. Big” only one could win: the result was pretty clear.

Cologne/Berlin – “Das Supertalent” has been back on TV since January 27, 2024 – with a new cast.

In addition to Dieter Bohlen (69) and Bruce Darnell (66), Anna Ermakova (23) and Ekaterina Leonova (36) are also on the jury.

In “Small versus Big” with Kai Pflaume (56), the celebrity cast changes from show to show anyway.

But who did viewers prefer to watch on Saturday evening (February 3, 2024)?

“The Super Talent” and “Small vs. Big”: Clear results in the ratings battle

At the start of “Das Supertalent” the audience reacted mixedly to the new jury - especially to Anna Ermakova.

However, criticism hardly had any impact on the ratings, as the RTL show reported back confidently.

In the second episode of the show, bizarre talents were once again teased - for example, on Saturday evening there was a man who covered his underwear with his own body by bending it strangely.

His constant exclamation of “I’m wearing underpants” raised questions.

On Kai Pflaume on ARD, Guido Maria Kretschmer (58), Heino Ferch (60), Veronica Ferres (58), Jan Josef Liefers (59), Wigald Boning (57) and Moritz Bleibtreu (52) took part in a duel against children at.

And the celebrities were actually able to convince the audience more.

According to dwdl.de,

4.53 million people watched

the individual competitions between young and old during prime time.

This gave ARD a market share of 18.4 percent among the total audience.

Only the “Tagesschau” at 8 p.m. and the ZDF film “Theresa Wolff – Dreck” were a little stronger.

“Das Supertalent” with Dieter Bohlen gave RTL a market share in the double-digit range, but had to fall behind with 2.27 million viewers and 8.7 percent - and by a significant margin.

What number of viewers set the record in Germany?

On July 13, 2014, ARD made television history: According to estimates, a whopping 34.65 million people watched the World Cup final between Germany and Argentina (1-0 n.V.) on their own television sets.

Incorrect: People who followed the game during public viewing or in bars were not taken into account in this count.

The actual number is likely to be considerably higher.

Tight ratings race in the target group: One TV show dominates

“Small vs. Large” also came out on top in the advertising-relevant target group – although not quite as clearly as in the overall overview.

ARD should be satisfied with 0.78 million viewers and 14.8 percent market share.

The second episode of “Das Supertalent” achieved a 13 percent market share, which represents 0.67 million viewers – and was therefore ahead of the competition from ProSieben (“Schlag den Star”) and Sat.1 (“Ice Age”).

However, RTL was able to celebrate a greater success with the semi-final of “I'm a Star – Get Me Out of Here!”.

On Saturday evening, a lot of talent was demonstrated in two programs - but in the ratings duel between “Das Supertalent” and “Small vs. Big” there was only one winner.

Although the format only started at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday evening, there were plenty of fans sitting in front of the TV sets.

1.51 million and a 29.9 percent market share gave the format the day's victory among young audiences.

The jungle camp was able to score points the day before and shaved the entire television landscape.
