British King Charles III has been diagnosed with a type of cancer, Buckingham Palace reported this Monday.
The news comes after the recent prostate surgery that the monarch underwent.

"During El Rey's recent hospital procedure for a benign enlarged prostate, another issue of concern was noted.
Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a type of cancer.
Her Majesty began a regular treatment program today, during which time doctors have advised her to postpone her public duties.
Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to take care of State affairs and official procedures as normal.

The King thanks his medical team for the quick intervention, which was made possible by virtue of his recent hospital procedure.
