By not acting, they did not protect her

Lina disappeared on Saturday September 23, 2023. That day, the teenager left her mother's home, located in Plaine, on foot around 11 a.m.

Direction: Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station, about 3 kilometers away, where she had to take a regional express train (TER) at 12:03 p.m.

The train was heading to Strasbourg, where her 19-year-old boyfriend, Tao, was waiting for her.

The young man was filmed on site by the station's video surveillance.

Dressed in a gray dress and a white down jacket, Lina walked along the departmental road 350, a small tarmac road which crosses the forest.

Lina's phone went off the air at 11:22 a.m.

The teenager, who never boarded the TER, vanished between her mother's home and the start of a cycle path leading to a pond.

“There is no other choice than to keep hope, that’s what makes me get up every morning,”

explained Fanny, Lina’s mother, during her press conference on Friday.

“I would like to know, to understand.

I think all the time, it’s terrible every day not to know

,” continued the young girl’s mother, her face very marked.

“Fight, hang on and come back quickly, I love you,”

Fanny also told her daughter.
