Registration is open for the Didacta Italia 2024 training events, which will take place like every year in Florence, at the Fortezza da Basso, from 20 to 22 March.

The event, now in its seventh edition, is the most important trade fair on educational innovation with an important innovation: an area entirely dedicated to universities and Afam (higher artistic, musical and dance education).

Didacta Italia is, in the Italian panorama and beyond, an event capable of offering teachers a complete and quality training experience, thanks also to the opportunity to benefit from the latest generation of innovative technological materials during workshops and seminars.

The scientific program presents a wide range of activities ranging from school 0-6 up to post-diploma courses for a total of 320 training events - 120 workshops and 200 seminars - aimed at teachers, managers and school staff.

Thanks to the presence of institutions and companies, Didacta Italia intends to encourage debate on the world of education among institutions, associations, entrepreneurs, teachers, school managers and the academic sector.

During the three-day fair, teachers will be able to participate in seminars and workshops in the Artificial Intelligence classroom, in the two immersive classrooms and in the area dedicated to the metaverse.

Furthermore, the 0-6 department was organised, an environment for early childhood, furnished and equipped 'child-friendly'.

The other departments concern the artistic sector, innovative school libraries, professional hotel institutes and Higher Technological Institutes.

As in every edition of Didacta, the Ministry of Education and Merit will be present with a range of proposals within the scientific program as well as with a large Arena where other training events are planned and in which teachers and school managers will be able to receive information on projects and ministry initiatives.

At Didacta it will also be possible to visit a rich exhibition section with the main companies in the school and education supply chain: from the stationery and publishing sectors to information technologies, from environmental and emotional education to school furnishings and school lunches.

Among the exhibitors are also numerous national and international institutions, scientific and cultural structures, universities, schools, associations, companies, foundations and museums.

To participate in the training events it is necessary to consult the scientific program (https://fieradidacta.indire.it/it/programma/) and select the interested parties, completing the procedure by purchasing the ticket directly on the portal, also using the teacher's card.

The cost of the ticket is 16, 25 and 30 euros, based on the number of days (from one to three).

It is possible to book a maximum of two training events per day which can be: 2 seminars, 2 workshops, 1 seminar and 1 workshop, in addition to unlimited participation in meetings of institutions and companies.

An absolute novelty this year is the opening of Didacta to the world of universities, with a pavilion entirely dedicated to Italian universities, with the presence of the Ministry of University and Research.

Inside this area there is a room reserved for meetings, debates, training and exchange of good practices in which teachers and staff from the academic world will be able to participate.

Among the topics addressed, artificial intelligence, soft skills, innovative teaching, blended learning, disabilities and equal opportunities.

The program of training events is organized by around thirty universities and Cineca, with the coordination of the Ministry of University and Research and the collaboration of the Crui (Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities).

The complete program of initiatives will be available on the Fiera Didacta Italia website starting next week.

An exhibition space is also planned in which there will be stands of the Ministry of University and Research and of the Crui, as well as those of various universities, and where professors and researchers will have the opportunity to meet and network.

Among the initiatives, particular attention will be paid to Erasmus in Italy, the youth mobility program promoted by the Ministry of University and Research, which offers Italian university students the opportunity to attend specific courses in other universities on the Peninsula.
