In the Erlangen-Höchstadt district, witnesses called the emergency number: a drunk man wanted to get into a car with a child and apparently planned to drive away.
Heroldsberg - On February 3, 2024, at 1:15 p.m., an unusual incident took place in Heroldsberg.
Witnesses reported a drunk 33-year-old man at a supermarket, accompanied by a small child, who appeared to be planning to drive away in a car parked in the parking lot.

A patrol met the man.
“He refused any cooperation and became aggressive, which is why the officers had to arrest him,” says a press release entitled “Drunk in someone else’s car and with someone else’s child.”
The man offered considerable resistance and spat on the officers.
“During the incident, the child’s mother eventually arrived, unaware that the man had simply taken the family car and the child.
The man, who is visiting from abroad, was with her partner and spent the night there,” the police continued.

In his drunken state, he simply took the family car and, for reasons still unknown, his four-year-old son.
