Several people were injured by fire during a carnival parade in Kehl (Baden-Württemberg).
The police gave details of the accident.

After the fire accident at a carnival parade in Kehl (Baden-Württemberg), the number of injured has increased.
According to the police in Offenburg, a total of seven people were injured when a moving truck caught fire.
Six of the people were slightly injured and one man suffered serious injuries.
The procession, which several tens of thousands of people watched from the side of the road, was then called off.

The police said the cause of the fire was the deflagration of an engine on a trailer shortly after 3 p.m.
This resulted in the fire.
According to police, the fire department extinguished the fire promptly.
The Kehler fire department was on site with 16 emergency services.
The police have not yet been able to provide any information about the extent of the damage.
The officers from the Kehl police station began the investigation.
