The new standard will be blessed at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Gaden fire department.

The Gaden fire department looks back on 2023 at the general meeting and is planning its big anniversary this year.

– The Gaden fire department cannot complain about problems with young talent.
33 active volunteers are currently doing their work.
These include three women, as Commander Christian Schröcker explained at the annual general meeting, a firefighter candidate and two youth firefighter colleagues.
A male firefighter candidate and a fellow youth firefighter also join the force.
Schröcker was satisfied with the level of training.
The outlook for the next few months is also not bad: in 2024, the emergency services expect the new LF 20 KatS emergency vehicle, and the fire department is also celebrating its 100th anniversary with a three-day celebration.
But that also has another side of the coin.
A significantly increased workload is expected for the current year.
The big anniversary celebration is scheduled to take place from Friday, May 24th to Sunday, May 26th in and around the Gaden fire station.
The celebration lasts three days.
Young people in particular are expected to be active on Friday.
Then there is a party with DJ MKay and especially with Isi Glück, Miss Germany of the year 2012. On Saturday there will be a beer and wine festival with music from “The Soundscape”.
The festival Sunday begins with the traditional awakening of the village.
Afterwards, a celebratory service will be celebrated, if possible with a blessing of the new emergency vehicle, or so it is hoped in Gaden.
But the new standard will certainly receive a blessing.
It replaces the old one from 1926, which can no longer be restored.
According to Hans Niedermayer, up to 800 guests are expected on Sunday.
That's why the chairman of the fire brigade association made an urgent request to the entire village to help the fire brigade with setting up the festival tent.
We are also looking for helpers at the bar and cake bakers.
All volunteers should contact the Niedermayer family.
The chairman already thanked his daughter Nicole for her work. As a business student, she was an indispensable support in the management of the big festival.
Secretary Daniela Schröcker praised Niedermayer for creating the commemorative publication.
The Eittinger Böllerschützen and the marching band of the Freising Volunteer Fire Department with around 40 men will be there on the festival Sunday.
Despite all the work with the 100th anniversary celebrations, they don't want to miss out on the Christmas tree auction on December 6th this year, and the military will also be present at the traditional church events.
Looking back at the work done, technical assistance (THL) far outweighed the 2023 operations, with fires, storm damage and traffic accidents also being deployed.
The Gadener Wehr currently has four respiratory protection wearers ready for use, one of whom is currently on leave due to illness, reported Andreas Urban.
The number of respirators is expected to be expanded to eight by the end of this year.
All in all, Commander Schröcker stated: “The operations have doubled compared to 2022!” The political community of Eitting was represented by local councilors Angela Fodermair-Hasenhündl and Helga Niedermayer, who is also a fire department representative.
Former mayor Georg Wiester was also among the guests.
