Gilching - A year ago, the municipality of Gilching took an important step towards sustainable mobility by putting the e-charging station on Hochstift-Freising-Weg into operation.
Now the municipality is celebrating the first anniversary of this important facility, which enables the citizens of Gilching to charge their electric vehicles conveniently and in an environmentally friendly manner.
The charging station, strategically located in the public parking lot behind City Hall, was installed to meet the community's growing needs for more environmentally friendly transportation options.
Its establishment reflects Gilching's commitment to taking a pioneering role in the field of electromobility and reducing the community's ecological footprint.
Since its commissioning, the charging station has experienced steadily growing acceptance.
The increase in usage last January was particularly encouraging, when the station set a new record of 173 charging sessions.
These figures impressively demonstrate how well the e-mobility initiative is being accepted by the citizens of Gilching and how important it is to continuously support and expand the infrastructure for electric vehicles.
Inspired by this success, the community of Gilching plans to further expand its commitment to sustainable mobility.
The positive response and the increasing use of the charging station encourage us in our plan to install more e-charging stations in the municipality and thus make an even greater contribution to environmental protection and the promotion of electromobility.
