Another great performance.
And a result which confirms its current form.
French golfer Matthieu Pavon took 3rd place in the PGA tournament at Pebble Beach (California, United States) after the cancellation of the 4th and final round on Sunday due to bad weather.
After his historic victory at Torrey Pines on January 28, the first of the modern era for a tricolor on the PGA circuit, Pavon followed up with an excellent 3rd place in another tournament on the North American circuit, and confirmed his dazzling form.
The last round scheduled for Sunday was first postponed to Monday due to bad weather (wind, rain, floods) hitting part of California, before being canceled by the organizers, who kept Saturday's ranking.
The victory thus went to the American Wyndham Clark, winner of the US Open last year, and author of the course record on Saturday with a card of 60 (12 under par).
Clark (30 years old) won with one stroke ahead of the Swede Ludvig Aberg and two strokes ahead of Pavon.
