All the British airlines - EasyJet, Virgin and British Airways - have not yet announced when they will officially return to flying to Israel, and the demand for flights to the British capital is very high.
Until now, El Al was the only airline that operated flights to London, but now another airline announces the operation of direct flights to one of the most visited and sought-after destinations in the world.
Arkia announced today (Monday) that it will operate two weekly flights to Heathrow and Luton airports starting this month and during the month of March, but it is currently unclear whether the company will continue the direct flights to London also in April and beyond.

The flights will be operated alternately on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Arkia's joining the Tel Aviv-London route introduces the first competition in flights to the sought-after destination since the beginning of the Iron Swords War.
The Hungarian company Wizz Air is expected to return to Israel as of March 1, and if there are no changes it is also expected to operate direct flights to London.
In addition to the flights to the destination, Wizz Air is also expected to operate direct flights to Rome, Budapest, Krakow, Sofia and Bucharest, with the company operating two to three weekly flights to each of the cities.
