Three young men were robbed at gunpoint by a courier they ordered/according to Section 27 A of the Copyright Law

A serious indictment will be filed in the coming days against three young men from Deir Hana, 18-year-old Rabah Zinaldin, 20-year-old Salem Jaber and a 17.5-year-old boy, who robbed at gunpoint and with violence a messenger who was invited to the settlement.

The event took place about two weeks ago;

A man from Deir Hana ordered a shipment of spare parts for a scooter that arrived from Jerusalem.

The messenger arrived at the settlement with the package in hand.

According to Superintendent Ihav Haddad, police officer at the Mashgav station, "When the courier arrived at the address, the recipient of the shipment was not there, and the three suspects were waiting for him in a vehicle.

One of the suspects threatened the courier with a gun, and another suspect sprayed him with powder from a fire extinguisher, they grabbed the package from his hands and fled the scene.

Within a few hours of filing the complaint, we arrested two suspects, and a few days later we arrested the third suspect.

During the investigation, which included confrontations and various investigative exercises - we were able to provide an evidentiary basis for filing a serious indictment."

"Confrontations and investigative exercises were carried out and we were able to provide an evidentiary infrastructure."

The messenger's attack was recorded on his car camera and the documentation was brought to the police.

An airsoft gun with which one of the suspects threatened the courier was also found.

Superintendent Hadad noted that the recipient of the shipment himself is now on the run from the police.

The package he ordered was not found, which raises suspicions about his software.

A serious indictment will be filed against the three for assault, obstructing an investigation and conspiracy to commit a crime. Yesterday (Sunday) the prosecutor's office filed a prosecutor's statement. Tomorrow and Thursday, indictments will be filed against the three in the Haifa District Court.

The case of the violent robbery in Deir Hana joins a series of violent incidents in the town in the Galilee, during which a 50-year-old man was shot to death. The incident happened a day before the robbery of the messenger, but there is no connection between the cases.

The 50-year-old was shot at a butcher's shop in the town and was taken to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya in very serious condition and died of his wounds over the weekend.
