Dear subscribers,
Traditionally, January is a quiet month in Hollywood.
All the films that intended to be eligible for the Oscars jostled to be released between September and mid-December.
So there reigns in the cinemas a form of truce of the confectioners, Hollywood (and me) being turned towards the Oscar nominations and the other ceremonies which precede them.
This tornado, and that of the Caesars, having made landfall, I dare to reinvest these places to make you want to see new releases for the month of January, which have not skimped on ambition, distribution and panache.
