The jungle camp moderators often joke at the expense of the campers - but now Sonja Zietlow is shooting in a different direction: “Wetten, dass..?” and Thomas Gottschalk.
Murwillumbah - On February 4, 2024, a queen, Lucy Diakovska (47), was crowned in the jungle camp.
Before that, the three finalists had to perform disgust tests again - and the audience saw the final scenes from the Australian jungle.
As always, Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40) led the program in the tree house.
It wasn't just the candidates who got their fat off, but also Thomas Gottschalk (73).
In the jungle camp final: Sonja Zietlow shoots against Thomas Gottschalk
Love dramas, arguments and fake accusations – the RTL jungle camp once again had exciting stories in store.
In the final show on Sunday evening, Sonja Zietlow summarizes which three candidates have a chance of winning the crown.
In addition to “Ex on the Beach” fame Leyla Lahouar (27) and influencer Twenty4Tim (23), No Angels star Lucy is also at the party.
But the presenter uses their career for a hidden swipe.
“On the one hand we have Lucy, with the classic ox tour: rehearsal room, tour bus, 'Wetten Dass..?',” she says – and then pushes her colleague Jan Köppen away from her.
“Yes, no you, Jan, please take your hand off my knee,” she interjects.
Even if hidden, this is not a tip against Jan, but against Thomas Gottschalk, the long-time moderator of “Wetten,dass..?”.
The entertainer has often been criticized - not only for questionable sayings, but also for a lot of physical contact with female guests during his “Wetten,dass..?” moderation.
These are the jungle camp moderators
Sonja Zietlow is the only presenter and has been part of the jungle camp from the start.
In season one she was seen alongside Dirk Bach.
After his death in October 2012, Daniel Hartwich took over the job in the Australian bush for many years.
Another RTL star has been an integral part of the TV format since 2023: Jan Köppen.
Not just Thomas Gottschalk: Sonja Zietlow gave a few swipes in the Jungle Slash
The Thomas Gottschalk era on the ZDF format has now come to an end - last but not least, in his farewell words he said that he could no longer safely say and do what he wanted on “Wetten,dass..?”.
But the TV star is not the only one who receives swipes from the moderation duo at the jungle camp.
Sonja Zietlow also shot live against Cora Schumacher (47), who had already been eliminated.

The reason: Cora voluntarily left “I'm a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” because she had a bad cough and had problems with the smoke from the campfire.
After a clip in which rattling breathing could be heard, Sonja Zietlow ironically thanked the ex-racing driver: “Many thanks also to Cora Schumacher for the breathing noises.” Nevertheless, Cora Schumacher wanted to move back to the jungle camp - the presenter reacted to it live .
