“I am very happy to be here in front of so many legends (...) My album has given me the best memories of my life,” said Karol G after receiving the award from Maluma and Christina Aguilera.
The Colombian won the section that included reggaeton artist Rauw Alejandro with his album
Saturno
, and Puerto Rican composer and producer Tainy with his first solo album

.
In November 2023, Karol G triumphed at the Latin Grammy gala by taking the gramophone in the queen category for best album with the same material, plus two other awards for best urban album and best urban fusion/performance respectively.
