Avigdor Lieberman said today (Monday) at the beginning of the faction meeting that "the Egyptians cheated us" and "at best he closes his eyes in view of the Hamas smuggling".
As a reminder, this morning it was announced that Egypt recently sent strong messages to Israel, according to which the movement of Palestinian refugees from Gaza to Sinai would jeopardize the peace agreement between the two countries.
"The Egyptians cheated us, lied to us, played a double game, did not consider Israel," Lieberman attacked.
"We have to do what is best for us. It is impossible to collapse Hamas without taking control of the Philadelphia axis, there are countless wars there that continued to operate even during the war."
He added: "At best, the Egyptians decided to close their eyes. They asked to bring in additional forces in violation of the Camp David agreements in Sinai, in violation of the peace agreement. They should be told to return those forces."
