Acting President of the Supreme Court, Judge Uzi Fogelman, this evening (Monday) established an investigation team to investigate who leaked parts of the High Court of Reasonability to the media.
On the eve of the publication of the verdict, parts of it were published by Amit Segal in News 12.
In a statement from the judicial authority today, they announced that Fogelman will form a team to investigate who leaked, while the names of the team members were also published and included Hagai Avimor and Eyal Dagan, both of whom served as the head of the Shev Investigations Division "As retired.
On behalf of the judiciary, the court director's team will include judge Michael Spitzer and court registrar Keren Azoulai.

"Publishing parts of draft judgments whose writing has not yet been completed is a serious incident. Everything possible must be done to clarify things as soon as possible in order to learn lessons for the future," Fogelman wrote in the nomination letter.
"Therefore, after considering the matters in depth, due to the urgency and necessity of quickly locating the systemic circumstances that made it possible to release the published information and similar information of this type, and to formulate recommendations for action in the near term and with a forward-looking view - I hereby appoint an inspection team, as will be detailed below ".
Fogelman detailed in the letter of appointment the inspection they would conduct, including the possible breaches and the circle of those exposed to the information.
"The inspection team will map the physical and technological work methods in the court; the possible loopholes for leaking information; and the scope of the factors exposed to such information, which under the circumstances of the present case was wide. Also, the team will examine the question of whether it is possible to reduce the circle of those exposed to information, increase supervision on the manner of its preservation and to improve the documentation of its use," the letter of appointment reads.

The team, among other things, interviews with judges and employees in the system, and will be allowed to hear and be assisted by other factors, including experts in the field of technology, and request to receive for its review any relevant material that may assist it in its work.
As soon as the team's investigation turns up behavior that is suspected of criminality or a disciplinary violation, by one party or another, the team will stop the investigation of said behavior and transfer the handling of the concrete findings regarding it to the authorities authorized by law as soon as possible.
