This morning, MK Avigdor Lieberman and MK Oded Forer came to tour the seam line with the seam line authorities forum, which was recently established by the mayor of Kfar Saba Rafi Sa'ar, and includes about 15 municipalities and regional and local councils, adjacent to the seam line and the separation fence from the Palestinian Authority settlements , including the city of Kalkilia.
As part of the visit, members of the Seam Line Authorities Forum presented the challenges and security problems in the region and the forum members' demand from the government to recognize the Seam Line settlements as eligible settlements - including the security components derived from this.
The problem of the separation fence being breached in different sections, the problem of the Shebaim infiltrating the eastern Sharon region, the problem of crime and the fear of the residents for their safety, and this alongside the strengthening of forces and security measures by the local authorities without any government assistance.

What is happening with the Shebahim is an existential and immediate danger, and one of the lessons from October 7 is that those who organized themselves managed to prevent the massacre. The country must wake up," said MK Avigdor Lieberman. "You need to organize and physically stop the flow of the Shebahim. Those who tour the seam line and see the proximity and the Shabaim every morning and the crime that develops here even in times of war, understands that this is a real threat, a challenge that must be faced and one hour earlier.

You must bring this issue to the forefront and have it on the public agenda."

The mayor of Kfar Saba and chairman of the Seam Line Forum, Rafi Sa'ar: "Since the war began, we have invested all municipal resources in strengthening forces and security measures, in order to protect our residents, but the government must take this issue and budget for a security plan for the region, for what this implies.
We are very concerned and we raised it both at the meeting held last week at the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and also in an appeal to Defense Minister Yoav Galant.
