The attacked man was urgently transferred to Nantes University Hospital.
He had injuries to his head and arms.

The two attackers were arrested and taken into police custody on Saturday for assault with a weapon.
Determined not to get caught, the man with the knife had tried in vain to get rid of his blade;
it was nevertheless able to be discovered in the thickets by the police, during their inspection of the site of the altercation.
After sobering up in the cells of the Nantes central police station, one of the two suspects was released on Sunday.
His comrade was brought before the courts on Monday morning and should appear immediately at the Nantes criminal court.
