Along with the northern districts of Melun, it is one of the strongholds of drug trafficking in the crosshairs of the police at the Melun Val de Seine police station.
The Cartel, this district of Savigny-le-Temple with a sinister reputation, is regularly the subject of anti-drug operations.
For around ten days, police officers from the local judicial police department increased investigations and surveillance before taking action last Monday.
Two deal points were mainly targeted.
During the intervention, the investigators got their hands on a lookout, an 18-year-old man living in Gagny in Seine-Saint-Denis and recruited for this “mission”.
They also arrested a 21-year-old seller, from the neighborhood, as well as a resident of Saint Saint-Denis in possession of a few grams of cannabis.
But above all, they get their hands on whoever is considered the manager.
He also comes from this neighborhood located in a priority security zone (ZSP).
In addition to these four arrests, the police were able to obtain concrete elements during the searches.
Scales, knives, packaging or even cell phones, but also and above all drugs.
Nearly two kilos of cannabis resin, 36 g of weed and 49 g of cocaine.
At the end of their custody, the suspects were tried in immediate appearance last Wednesday, at the Melun criminal court.
The watchman received a four-month suspended sentence, the seller received a six-month suspended sentence, while the manager was sentenced to 18 months in prison and was subsequently imprisoned.
The person who possessed the cannabis got away with a criminal order.
