Highlights: Women's organizations, media women and network influencers have been raising a voice for weeks. Women's demonstrations led by the "Building an Alternative" organization include organized mass shouting. A lot of criticism was directed towards the women's organizations in the world who, due to cost-benefit calculations, turned a cold shoulder to the Jewish victims. The movement to support the families of the abducted and to keep them in consciousness is extremely important, but we must not cross the border into the realms of public disintegration in the eyes of our enemies.

We do not have the privilege to remain silent, but we also do not have the privilege to wage an irresponsible struggle that crosses the line into the realms of calls for public disintegration in the eyes of our enemies

One of the sobering moments after the October 7 massacre was the silence of the international women's organizations.

Organizations that boasted an apolitical agenda and pretended to support women everywhere cruelly ignored the horrific sexual crimes committed by Hamas terrorists, and did not lift a finger for the abductions.

One can be disappointed by the demonstrated disregard for reality and the blind adherence to an agenda, but one cannot claim that this is new.

A mirror image of the thunderous silence of the world's women's organizations is reflected in the women's organizations in Israel.

The local struggle for the release of the abductees is led by women, and not by chance.

This is the first time that Israel has had to deal with an unimaginable number of female abductions, for all the horror scenarios that this entails.

Women's organizations, media women and network influencers have been raising a voice for weeks and are not allowing the issue to fall off the agenda, through an overwhelming and emotional struggle.

Orna Banai made headlines following a prolonged outcry at the demonstration for the release of the abductees, there are women's demonstrations led by the "Building an Alternative" organization and other women's organizations at intersections across the country that include organized mass shouting.

No wonder the practice of shouting is gaining momentum, there is no person in Israel who does not want to scream his soul out of pain and concern for the abductees.

But not every inner cry should be shouted outwardly, when we are dealing with sadistic jihadists who derive pleasure and satisfaction from the sight of our suffering, and also turn it into a bargaining chip.

In the previous hostage deal, about 100 hostages were released in exchange for one hostage in exchange for three terrorists along with a brief lull in the fighting.

The deal was signed at the height of the fighting, when Hamas suffered heavy losses and also great anger from the residents of the Gaza Strip.

A lot of criticism was directed towards the women's organizations in the world who, due to cost-benefit calculations, turned a cold shoulder to the Jewish victims.

Why do the women's organizations in Israel make calculations that prevent them from calling for concrete measures such as stopping aid to the Gaza Strip, limiting electricity and water and intensifying the fighting, measures that have been proven in the past to be effective levers of pressure?

And now, for weeks now, demonstrations led by women's organizations have been chanting "All of them! Ek-shio! Es-ka! Ek-shio!", alongside calls to stop the war and reach a political settlement (with whom?).

Against the background of negotiations for another deal, it is no wonder that the price has risen - now we are talking about a large number of terrorists who will be released for each abductee, prolonged ceasefires and other draconian conditions with disastrous consequences in the long term.

Moran Zer-Katzenstein, one of the founders of "Building an Alternative", was quoted as saying that as long as the abductees are there, we have no privilege to remain silent.

And I add that we also do not have the privilege to wage an irresponsible struggle.

The movement to support the families of the abducted and to keep them in consciousness is extremely important, but we must not cross the border into the realms of public disintegration in the eyes of our enemies.

All of these are absent from the signs and chants at the demonstrations, they are replaced by debilitating messages calling for submission to Hamas' demands and an end to the war.

Then, the next round is a matter of time.

When the shouters of now-now-now arrive, will they take responsibility for their part in the deal or will they take to the streets to demonstrate again against the government?

Were we wrong?

We will fix it!
