Copenhagen – Queen Mary of Denmark celebrates her 52nd birthday on February 5th.
But anyone expecting a formal portrait photograph for Mary's first birthday as queen was in for a surprise.
The mother of four celebrated her special day with a very special family photo.
However, neither King Frederik X (55) nor their children Prince Christian (18), Princess Isabella (16), Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine (both 13) were visible.
