An accident occurred in Brockel (Lower Saxony) that poses particular challenges for rescue workers.

Brockel – A serious traffic accident occurred in the area of federal highway 71 in Brockel on Sunday, February 4th.
A driver coming from the direction of Barken had given way to an ambulance coming from Brockel at midday.
Although the ambulance driver tried to evade, the vehicles touched each other.
The ambulance rolled over several times.
All three people in this were injured, some seriously.
Both a patient and a paramedic were trapped.
They had to be freed by rescue workers from the fire department.
What made matters worse was that the car involved was a Tesla.
The fire department had to disconnect the main battery.

The spokesman for the volunteer fire brigades of the Bothel municipality reports that rescue workers from Bothel, Brockel, Hemslingen and Rotenburg as well as four ambulances and emergency doctors and the organizational head of the German Red Cross were called to the accident.
The police also called colleagues with a drone to investigate the accident and the federal highway had to be temporarily closed.
