Rana is only five months old.
The Kangal dog is currently waiting for a new family at the Nuremberg animal shelter.
But she’s not someone who “just goes along.”
Nuremberg - A Kangal is looking for a new home.
“When you see the young dog Rana, you get a sugar shock, but you shouldn’t be blinded by her very beautiful and sweet appearance,” writes the Nuremberg animal shelter about a photo of the dog on Facebook.
Because: As a Kangal, Rana poses a number of challenges for her future home “and is not a dog that just runs along”.

Kangal dog is looking for a home - “Will test her limits”
Rana is currently - as far as possible - getting to know different situations.
The Kangal dog is not yet house trained.
Since she is sometimes very insecure, a confident first dog would be good for her, according to the animal shelter.
“Rana is a very sweetheart at the moment, but she is growing up, testing and questioning her limits,” it continues.
Your new owners should therefore ideally already have experience with livestock guard dogs and be familiar with the special character traits - or become familiar with them.

“Kangal is a challenge,” one person commented on the Facebook post.
“Livestock guard dogs are really great dogs if you know how to take them,” writes one woman.
Many are enthusiastic about the young and pretty dog and wish her good luck.
The Facebook post has already been shared almost 400 times - in less than 24 hours.
Anyone who would like to get to know Rana should fill out the animal shelter's interest form.
