In Gennevilliers (Hauts-de-Seine), the second hand is more than a carrying wave, it is a tsunami.
The success of Tricycle is a typical example.
Initially, the company offered a service that was still in development: the recovery and recycling of materials and furniture from companies that are moving.
While the health crisis has dealt a fatal blow to a number of companies, it has had the effect of a boost on the SME now based in a huge warehouse in the Gennevilliers industrial zone.
In three years, the number of employees has more than doubled and the company is targeting 7 million turnover for 2024.

In recent years, Tricycle has considerably developed Gepetto, its carpentry workshop.
But the company brings together several branches with very specific missions.
Right upstream, Tricycle carries out the total cleaning and removal of professional premises.
Everything that can be recovered is sorted on the Gennevilliers site and then sent to the appropriate channel.
The furniture, from the toilet bowl to the office chair, including the shelf or the door handles, is refurbished and then resold.
In 2022, Tricycle recycled 7,825 tonnes of waste and 755 tonnes of office equipment and furniture.
Today, the company has 120 employees, half of whom are in integration.
