Munich will be illuminated in the light of democracy on Sunday.
Supported by a broad alliance, the people of Munich want to demonstrate against hatred and incitement.
Munich – On Sunday evening, Fridays for Future Munich, together with other organizations, is calling on people to create a “sea of lights for democracy” on the Theresienwiese with candles and lamps.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Thousands of demonstrators took part in the anti-right demonstration in Munich last Sunday.
A rally with 500 participants was registered in Geretsried.

Demonstration in Munich: “A sign for democracy”
In the Instagram post, the organizers write: “After the large demonstration on January 21st, Munich is once again setting an example for democracy and human rights.
On February 11th at 6 p.m. we will form a sea of light against the darkness of hatred and agitation!”

Her goal is to reach people from the middle of society.
Demo against racism and hate speech: “This event is the start of further actions”
Together with Fridays for Future, other organizers are also supporting the demo in Munich.
These include “Bellevue di Monaco” and the “Munich is colorful!” association.
This event marks the beginning of further actions throughout Bavaria “to defend the most valuable thing we have: our democracy,” writes Fridays for Future in their post.
