,” underlined Christophe Fanichet, whose company has recruited 4,900 people throughout France in 2023, including 1,350 for the Island. of France.
This year, Transilien - the trains of the Paris region - plans to recruit 900 people, including 400 drivers to restore a sometimes failing service on certain lines - notably the RER B, C and D.
"For the Olympics, we have already recruited several months ago (...) and we will be ready to carry out the entire transport plan
,” recalled Christophe Fanichet.
During the competition period, SNCF Voyageurs plans to put 4,500 additional trains on the Ile-de-France rails to absorb the surplus of users.
