Media consultant Itzik Alrov was questioned today (Tuesday) with a warning at the Petah Tikva police because of a tweet he wrote against Transport Minister Miri Regev.
In the tweet, the image of Regev appeared "wearing" a garment made of popcorn in white and red colors, along with the inscription "Popcorn dipped in the blood of the fallen".
Alrov was asked in his investigation whether he didn't think his tweet could "make people take it a step further".

The tweet came following the storm that broke out a few weeks ago after it was published on Kan 11 that Minister Regev handed out popcorn during the meeting of the political-security cabinet and even handed it out to the ministers and said that "the show is starting".
According to the report, during the discussion in the cabinet, an argument developed between Defense Minister Yoav Galant and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, when the latter claimed that his words were being underestimated: Galant replied: "Just because you are interrogated by the Shin Bet does not mean that you understand intelligence", Ben Gvir for his part continued to tease Defense Minister: "No one in Likud will choose you." After the confrontation between the two, which included a variety of accusations, the Minister of Transportation took out the snack and distributed it to the ministers - as if it were a show.
Regev, we will recall, denied the report while changing versions. Her office first explained that the minister "on a diet" and that she brought popcorn so as not to eat pastries. The next day she vehemently denied these things and said that it was a "total lie and an absolute lie".
