Wasserburg: The police are still looking for the driver
The search is still ongoing for the driver: after the collision on Saturday, he had committed a hit-and-run.
On Saturday (February 3rd) he is said to have driven across the tracks despite the red light, whereupon the regional train crashed into the rear of the vehicle.
According to police, the car was probably damaged on the left rear taillight.
The driver continued driving without paying any attention to the accident - even though he had a duty to stop at the scene of the accident and report his involvement.
