One of the most talked about and strange incidents that happened at the Grammy Awards ceremony that took place last night (between Sunday and Monday) involved the successful rapper Killer Mike, who was arrested after winning 3 awards, including the best rap album award for his album "Michael".
At a certain point in the ceremony, the 48-year-old musician, whose real name is Michael Santiago Render, was recorded being forcibly removed from the hall where the ceremony took place by a police officer - handcuffed.
Initially, the details of the event were vague - but later it was reported that the musician got into a scuffle with a security guard at the venue.

The successful rapper, who is also a member of the acclaimed rap side Run The Jewels, described the strange turn of events to the website TMZ, clarifying that it was all a minor misunderstanding.
"There was chaos and confusion about which door me and my team had to go through," said the rapper.
"Although we encountered a security man who was a little too enthusiastic, my team and I are sure that we will be cleared of any blame."
At the same time, someone close to Killer Mike explained to TMZ that the commotion broke out when the rapper's team tried to enter some area of the event complex (it's not clear which area, DP), and that no one actually knew where to go. The same security man insisted that they not be allowed to enter the area , which resulted in Mike trying to force his way through while apparently knocking him to the floor - and a chase of sorts ensued. Eventually, Mike was caught by the guards, who held him under civil arrest and called the police. The rapper was taken in for questioning, released a short time later , and is now facing riot and assault charges.His trial is expected to take place later this month.
And more in the case of Killer Mike, who turns out to have had a particularly dramatic and eventful day yesterday: the musician's 21-year-old son, a rapper in his own right who also goes by the name Michael, underwent a kidney transplant right after his father's arrest.
It appears that the procedure was successful, and now young Rander is recovering in the hospital with his father by his side.
