(75) was diagnosed with cancer during his prostate surgery.
It is not said to be prostate cancer, but exactly what form of cancer Charles is suffering from has not yet been officially announced.

According to the official statement, King Charles wants to continue to “carry out state affairs and official paperwork as usual,” but on the advice of doctors he should not attend appointments for the time being.
Now, of all times, his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton (42) is also out for weeks.
After undergoing abdominal surgery, “she is unlikely to be able to return to her public engagements until after Easter,” Kensington Palace announced.
And Prince William (41) had actually canceled all appointments until Easter.
