The idea that predominated in Israeli society was that with the wall and the Iron Dome, Gaza was no longer an hour from Tel Aviv but as far away as the Moon.
We didn't care what they could do in Gaza.
The problem was resolved.
We believed we could live with a tiger in our backyard.
