Members of Knesset Eli Dellal and Eliyahu Rabivo this morning received an unprecedented threatening letter sent to them on behalf of the "Israeli Avengers" organization.
In the letter, the MKs are required to bring about the overthrow of the government by any means, including a vote against the budget and an expression of no confidence in the government that will lead to new elections. These demands stated in the letter come alongside an explicit threat of harming the members of the Knesset and their families.

The first page of the threat letter opens with an "explanation" on behalf of the organization about it.
According to them, they are the successors of Abba Kovner, who founded the Jewish Avengers group after World War II in order to settle accounts with Nazi officers.
According to them, the organization they head was founded by them in the summer of 2023, in order to harm individual terrorists or groups who carried out terrorist acts in Israel.
According to them, they do not claim to represent the families of victims or martyrs.
They also point out that the group has dozens of members, without political affiliation, including right-wing and referendum voters, secularists and kippah wearers, self-employed and employees, as well as government employees.
The organization, the letter states, was established to harm and punish terrorists and their families, even if they have served their sentence.
They also confess that behind them are already "two acts of revenge that we committed and were not published".
The office of the coalition center in the finance committee, MK Eliyahu Rabivo, sent a response to the letter of threats: "We express our shock and disgust at the criminal act and the threats against MK Rabivo and other elected officials and public servants. No political dispute justifies threats against an elected official. The relevant security officials will reach out to the perpetrators and bring them to justice. MK Rabivo will not be deterred - and will continue to act in order to represent and promote entire communities that support the parliamentary policy that he has been leading since he began serving as a member of the Israeli Knesset."
