An attempted terrorist attack against IDF soldiers near the community settlement of Itamar in Samaria, southeast of Nablus. According to the initial details, an armed terrorist arrived at a military position at the entrance to the settlement and fired at the soldiers. The IDF force guarding the area neutralized it without any casualties to our forces.
The incident took place at the entry checkpoint to Nablus, at the Beit Furik intersection between Itamar and Alon Mora.
A knife and a gun were found on the terrorist's body.
