The Liederhort Fidelitas Hohenkammer is starting the new year with a completely new management team.
At least two remain - one of them with a record term in office.
Hohenkammer
–
The general meeting of the Fidelitas Hohenkammer song group brought with it some changes: the previous chairwoman Bettina Geschke, who had successfully led the association for four years, resigned from her position for personal reasons.
The previous deputy, Agnes Burghardt, was elected as her successor.
In the future, Mathias Nitzsche will hold the position of second chairman.
After 20 years, it's over for two active people
“The changes in the positions of cashier and secretary felt even more serious,” reports the new secretary Nils Siebert.
After around 20 years each, Nikolaus Strobl and Anita Bayerl resigned from their positions.
In the future, Heike Schranner will take care of the finances and Nils Siebert will take care of the correspondence.
Auditors Birgit Pinzer-Rosen and Angela Loibl are also new to the team.
The committee includes Elisabeth Deml, Detlef Copony, Bettina Geschke and Klaus Strobl.
The position of youth representative remains unchanged: Carola Strobl remains in office.
Musical directors remain in office
The club’s musical direction also remains unchanged – both for adults and children.
Manfred Burghardt continues to lead the adult choir for a record-breaking 36 years.
Ursula Joachim still looks after the ensemble of young singers.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
With a total of five concerts - although not all with the entire ensemble - the past year was very work-intensive.
“The performance at the Hohenkammer Open-Air in June was certainly a very special event,” reports Nils Siebert.
This year the Liederhort will take things a little quieter.
Aside from the matinee at Hohenkammer Castle in October, the only scheduled date so far is an appearance at an event organized by the Petershausen men's choir in November.

New singers are always welcome
“All in all, the Liederhort Hohenkammer is moving in calm waters,” reports Siebert.
“The number of singers is largely constant, the finances are stable and the atmosphere at rehearsals and the general meeting could hardly be better.” Nevertheless, it is important to the Liederhort, which currently has 73 members in the adult choir and 42 girls and boys in the children’s choir to gain new members.
The children rehearse every Monday from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. in the Hohenkammer sports center, and the adults meet every Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hohenkammer parish hall.
