The Apple TV box is connected to the television or monitor via HDMI.
You can then access your
iTunes library, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and other numerous media libraries and channels
via WiFi .
There is another big advantage for Apple users: Thanks to AirPlay, photos, music and videos from the iPhone, iPad or iMac can be played on the TV.
In addition to series, films and music, further entertainment is provided with games that can be played via remote control.
In order to fully use Apple TV, an Apple ID is required.
With the voice assistant Siri, the set-top box can even be operated using voice commands.
The box can also be used as a HomeKit, which can be used to control smart home devices.

Apple TV 4K is the latest generation of Apple TV box.
With 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos
, Apple TV 4K offers the best way to enjoy Apple TV content in brilliant resolution and powerful sound.
Compared to HD, 4K HDR provides a significantly sharper image.
However, if you want to use Apple TV 4K to its full extent, you also need a corresponding 4K television.

Which TV is suitable for Apple TV?
