He is accused of being the author of a letter, containing death threats, addressed to the then Prosecutor of the Republic of Catanzaro Nicola Gratteri, now head of the Prosecutor's Office of Naples and to Debora Rizza, deputy prosecutor of Catanzaro.
A man, Salvo Gregorio Mirarchi, was arrested by the Salerno and Catanzaro Flying Squads on charges of threatening a public official, aggravated by the mafia method.
The arrest was made in execution of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of Salerno at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the city of Campania.
