    Strongly growing numbers are those of the Erasmus+ 2023 Report presented today by the National Erasmus+ Agency Indire in the Chapter Room of the Senate of the Republic.

In the School, Higher Education and Adult Education sectors, over 83,000 people will leave for study, internship or training in the current school year.

And in the last year there were 4,900 applications and 1,700 projects financed.


    The results in the field of adult education are also very positive: last year, over 2,300 people including educators, trainers and other Eda staff and around 1,300 adult learners were involved in mobility in Europe.


    "The Institute's research actions in the field of educational innovation - said the president of Indire, Cristina Grieco - must be traced back to a unified and integrated vision, which also includes the actions of the Erasmus programme, to increasingly encourage and promote the internationalization of the entire school system of our country. Some activities of our Erasmus Agency have been conducted in synergy with the strategic research aims of the Institute, creating a convergence on different levels of education, from early childhood to adulthood".


   "To better understand reality and prepare for the world of work, it is important that students have the opportunity to share skills and experiences also at an international level - stated Gian Marco Centinaio, vice-president of the Senate and promoter of the event - the European Erasmus+ Program is one of the more successful experiences in this sense and deserves to be encouraged. I accepted Indire's invitation to organize this conference in the Senate premises precisely because the comparison on the data and actions promoted so far can help all institutions to support the initiative in our country even more effectively


    The proceedings of the conference were opened by Centinaio and the Councilor for Labour, University and School of the Lazio Region, Giuseppe Schiboni.
