“If I am in the lead in the European elections, I will ask for the dissolution of the National Assembly that same evening,” the head of the National Rally (RN) list in the European elections, Jordan Bardella, launched this Tuesday on RTL.
“I say to the French:
You have put Macron in the minority in the National Assembly
.
We must do the same with Macron's Europe during these elections.
I am calling for the broadest possible mobilization to censor this government at the polls,” insisted the president of the RN.

Asked about the fact that his party is not voting for the motion of censure brought by LFI against the Attal government, Jordan Bardella called on the “French people” to “take charge of the government’s censorship”.
“The European elections are mid-term elections.
Everything you experience in your daily life is decided in Brussels,” said the head of the RN list, citing in particular “agriculture”, “migratory policy” and the “cost of energy”.
“I believe that now the French must go to the polls on June 9 (
election date)
.”

Also questioned about the presence of LFI parliamentarians at the tribute to the French victims of the Hamas attacks against Israel on October 7, Jordan Bardella said he was “uncomfortable with the idea of finding himself” at their side this February 7.
“What happened on October 7 was a moment of truth for French democracy,” said the head of the list.
Following these attacks, LFI parliamentarians refused to use the term “terrorist”.
LFI MP Danièle Obono had described Hamas as an “Islamist political group” which “resists an occupation”.
