Once again there were excesses of violence among young people in Heide.
Just last year, a 13-year-old girl was brutally tortured by a gang in the district town.
Heide – In Germany, Heide was known as a North Sea idyll in the Dithmarschen district.
The district town has just 22,114 inhabitants on an area of 31.97 km2.
One would think a quiet and rural life - but it's far from it.
Heide repeatedly makes headlines across Germany with violent excesses.
It was only on March 20, 2023 that the district town made headlines because of an equivalent incident.

A gang of girls attacked, kicked and hit a 13-year-old girl who was lying on the ground.
But that's not enough.
The perpetrators filmed their crime and distributed the video of the hours of physical abuse on the Internet.
This case showed astonishing parallels to the death in Freudenberg and now also to the renewed excesses of violence.
At that time there was even talk of “no-go areas” in Heide.
Two members of the “Heide Gang” have now been arrested after the victim reported them.

A group of young people between the ages of 14 and 18 are causing fear and terror by regularly attacking, beating and robbing other young people, as

reports.
The most recent incident occurred on January 21, 2024, when a 13-year-old was brutally attacked by this gang at the train station.
The perpetrators beat him, kicked him in the face and stole valuables worth more than €1,000, including a jacket, Nike trainers and an iPhone.

This pattern of violence repeats itself almost weekly, with the gang attacking, threatening and beating young victims.
Many of those affected are afraid to file a complaint.
But the 13-year-old boy showed courage and went to the police, which led to the arrest of two perpetrators.
They are now in custody on strong suspicion of aggravated robbery.
The accused are 16 and 18 years old.
Senior public prosecutor Peter Müller-Rakow told BILD
that
the group is now the focus of the public prosecutor's office and the police and that several investigations are underway against its members.
Another 13-year-old boy, another repeat victim of the gang, is calling for action now as he and many others live in fear.

The situation in Heide escalated further when the perpetrators again attacked the two 13-year-old boys and their mothers at the train station last Sunday.
This time, Bundeswehr soldiers, passengers and a railway employee had to intervene to calm the situation until the police arrived, writes

The police have now increased their presence at the train station in order to counteract the increasing willingness to use violence among young people.
Merle Neufeld, spokeswoman for the Itzehoe police, confirmed to
BILD
that additional patrol cars will be deployed and two officers who are familiar with the scene are on site to talk to the young people.
These measures follow repeated acts of violence by the so-called “Heide Gang”, a group of young people known for their attacks.
