After the fire in a gravel factory in Buch in the municipality of Kirchseeon, the police suspect arson.

She is looking for witnesses and hopes for information from the public.

- One day after the devastating fire in a gravel quarry in the Kirchseeon district of Buch, the police assume that the arson was intentional.

This was revealed by the fire site inspection by forces from the Erding criminal police and the State Criminal Police Office, a spokesman for the Upper Bavaria-Nord Police Headquarters reported on Tuesday, February 6th.

Several points of fire outbreak could have been identified on the gravel works site.

Damage amounting to at least six figures

The fire, which broke out in the early hours of Monday, February 5th, caused at least six-figure damage.

According to the police, a factory hall, an outbuilding, two wheel loaders and several conveyor belts were damaged or destroyed.

No one was harmed in the fire.

A large contingent from the surrounding fire brigades as well as forces from the Munich and Rosenheim districts were on duty for several hours.
