The song by Ghali, Giovanna Allevi and Alessandra Amoroso inspire some Italian passwords.

This is stated by a study by the cybersecurity company NordPass, according to which, as the Festival approaches, users increasingly choose names linked to the music event to create or update the keywords of their online services, also putting them at risk given the predictability.

For example, "casamia01" which takes inspiration from the song with which Ghali is competing is a password used by 279 Italians.

Just like "amoremio", which is inspired by the word present in many Sanremo 2024 texts, is used by 723 Italians as a password.

The list was compiled in collaboration with independent researchers and a 3 terabyte archive was analyzed.

The names of some Festival participants are among the most common keys: "giovanni" (currently used by 881 Italians), "alessandra" (711), "Gigi2960" (708), "Mpaola62" (704), "Marco2002" (502), "roberto" (462), "chiara" (333), "Leoleo123!"

(290) and others.

According to experts, the trend could be a problem.

“These passwords can be cracked almost instantly. While it's great to support your favorite artist or song, we don't recommend extending that support to passwords, as this ends up seriously compromising the security of your account,” says Cristian Gianni, Country Manager for Italy by NordVpn.

An evergreen tip from analysts is to update all passwords and use unique and complex ones.

If possible, also activate two-factor authentication, which adds face or fingerprint scanning on a smartphone to the insertion of a key, so as to increase the level of security.
