The City and the Buenos Aires suburbs woke up this Tuesday with another day of
oppressive heat
and a maximum that will reach
34 degrees
, which is why the National Meteorological Service renewed its
red level alert
due to high temperatures.
In the afternoon, some
isolated rains
are forecast for localities in the south of the province.
The agency forecast for this Tuesday partially cloudy to mostly cloudy skies, probable isolated rains in the afternoon, winds from the northeast sector rotating to the east, and a temperature that will have a minimum of 26 degrees and a maximum of 34.
The red level applies to the entire Federal Capital and the north of the province of Buenos Aires, including the towns of La Plata, Berisso, Ensenada.
The SMN warns that the red alert can have a
high to extreme effect on health and all people can be affected
, even healthy ones.
Meanwhile, the agency predicted
rain for the south of the province of Buenos Aires.
The provinces of Mendoza, San Juan, La Rioja and Catamarca, the west of Córdoba and San Luis, the south of Santa Fe, the north of Neuquén and part of Formosa, Santiago del Estero, are also affected by a red alert due to extreme temperatures. Tucumán, Corrientes, Entre Ríos and Salta.
In addition, in other provinces, an
orange alert
is in effect : Misiones, Formosa, Chaco, Corrientes, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero and San Luis.
Meanwhile, on
yellow alert
are: La Pampa, Chubut and Río Negro.
The only three provinces that are not affected by alerts are Jujuy, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego.
