At the jungle camp reunion, a surprising moment caused enthusiasm among RTL viewers - and it had nothing to do with "I'm a star - get me out of here!"
Cologne - When the RTL jungle camp started broadcasting at 10:15 p.m., there was a ten-minute news break within the TV show - as was the case last night during the "I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here!" reunion show.
The moderator Jan Köppen (40) handed over to “RTL Direkt” spokesman Jan Hofer (74) – Hofer’s reaction to Köppen’s introduction thrilled IBES viewers online.

Actually, the viewers' enthusiasm about the RTL news interruption during the jungle camp was limited.
On Monday, the former “Tagesschau” speaker Jan Hofer made the audience sit up and take notice and caused almost more conversation than the IBES reunion itself.

“I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” anniversary season in summer 2024
After the jungle camp is before the jungle camp: At yesterday's reunion show, presenter Sonja Zietlow (55) confirmed that there will be another "I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here!" season in late summer 2024.
The anniversary show is to be produced in South Africa and 12 former jungle campers will have the opportunity to take on the jungle adventure once again.
More enthusiasm for Jan Hofer than for the jungle camp reunion
On X (formerly Twitter), the 74-year-old is celebrated by the RTL audience for his relaxed reaction.
“Let Jan Hofer moderate the jungle camp next year, then he can drop a message once a day and then the trash can continue,” writes an amused user online.
