After three months of mobilization out of fear for their jobs and missions during the closure of the Center Pompidou from 2025 to 2030, two majority unions signed a memorandum of understanding with management last week.
On the occasion of the presentation of the programming outside the walls of the Center and the National Museum of Modern Art during the work, the president of the establishment, Laurent Le Bon, returns to this strike movement and outlines perspectives for the future of the institution.
LE FIGARO. - With the signing of the memorandum of understanding with the majority unions, has the Center Pompidou regained social peace?

The strike notice was given at the beginning of October, with the first day of strike effective on the 16th. There will have been 24 days of closure.
Along with the Minister of Culture, I am delighted with this protocol signed on January 29 by two organizations which, between them, obtained the majority of votes in the last elections, SPCP-FO and CFDT-Culture.
